Here's a video tutorial discussing how to use the liquify tool in photoshop
to tweak a rough pencil sketch, adding a little more character, drama and dynamism.
Note: If you're doing extreme deformation, you may wish to try out the Puppet Warp Tool.
But I find Liquify works faster for small tweaks to a sketch.
