Some shader tests of various kinds of old metals. While this sort of thing should be done using a curvature shader to place the metal patina in the grooves, instead I used a trick. I made the cuts in the spheres in mudbox, then I use the displacement map to not only drive the displacement, but also to mix between the two materials. The bronze shader is meant to mimic that zbrush bronze shader that you see around. Used Darktree for the materials main color pattern.
